Community Walk & GOTV Day of Action
Join us for a non-partisan GOTV canvassing and phone banking event to prepare our neighbors for the upcoming Midterms.
Community Walks is a program where we canvass our community, get to know our neighbors, and understand what issues are affecting us. Canvassing is one of the most effective ways of reaching people where they are. Together, we have the opportunity to hear directly about the issues that are the most important to our fellow community members, because we believe the people who are closest to the problems are closest to the solutions.
Come out with us, not to promote a candidate, idea, or product, but to listen and learn about the collective struggles we face as a community to organize and mobilize community-based solutions. So grab a friend or loved one, and we'll see you there! We look forward to building community with you.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to register?
Yes — please register for the walk you plan to attend so we can prepare for you. Use the registration button or form on this page.
What should I bring?
A charged cell phone with the MiniVan app, water or snacks, comfortable walking shoes, and a TCF t-shirt if you have one.
Do I walk alone?
No. You'll always walk with a partner — canvassing happens in pairs so you're never by yourself.
I've never canvassed before.
No experience needed. We offer training, and you'll always walk with a partner. You can also join our Signal group to stay connected with the team.
How long does a walk last?
Plan for about one to two hours to complete your turf, door to door.
Who can join?
Everyone is welcome. Community Walks & Talks is open to anyone who wants to listen, learn, and build community-based solutions together.
