Crusading to 'Keep Communities Free From Violence and Harm'

Last summer, Tiffany Crutcher led efforts to prevent the City of Tulsa from removing paint that spelled out "Black Lives Matter" from Greenwood Avenue, the site of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre where hundreds of Black Tulsans were attacked and killed by white mobs. The city voted to remove the mural after a pro-police group requested permission to paint "Blue Lives Matter" on another city street.
